The yellow Dupion Slub Anarkali is a celebration of colour and craft — a vibrant golden-yellow plain body is brought to life by a stunning Pichwai-style peacock and lotus motif printed panel near the hem, paired with a rich teal contrast yoke. The teal outer yoke with all-over small white/silver foil dot buti prints frames the yellow inner chest panel in a square shape, with 4 small dark button closures at the centre front and a narrow gold zari border trim along the square panel edges and neckline arc. The 3/4 teal buti-print sleeves are finished with a wide gold/silver woven border band at the cuffs, matching the empire waist band exactly. The yellow skirt body flows clean and wide into a vivid Pichwai/Kalamkari printed panel — tall pink lotus flowers in full bloom with dark green leaves, peacocks standing among the lotus with spread teal-green tail feathers, and decorative scroll vine work in pink, teal, dark green, and black on yellow. The hem is finished with a narrow multicolour geometric strip, a wide teal Banarasi-style woven band with dense paisley/circle scroll print in antique gold and white, and a narrow gold/silver woven strip at the very base.
