The off-white Dupion Slub Anarkali is a bloom of colour — the entire skirt and inner chest panel are covered in a large-scale pink rose/peony floral print, with big bold pink roses, leaves, and buds scattered across a fresh cream base. The deep maroon outer yoke with all-over small gold foil diamond buti prints frames the floral printed inner chest panel, with 4 small dark button closures at the centre front and a narrow gold zari border trim along the round neckline arc. A wide maroon woven paisley/floral border band in antique gold runs horizontally across the full chest/waist join, creating a beautifully defined empire waist. The 3/4 deep maroon buti-print sleeves are finished with a wide maroon check/grid woven cuff border with gold zari thread lines. The floral printed skirt flows into a rich double contrast hem border — a wide maroon paisley woven band followed by a wide maroon check/grid woven band matching the sleeve cuffs, finished with a narrow maroon base strip.
