The jet black outer yoke with all-over small gold foil floral/paisley buti prints frames a large silver/steel grey inner chest panel, at the centre of which sits a stunning peacock pendant embroidery in silver-white thread with gold zari accents — surrounded by dense floral vine scroll embroidery along the square panel frame and neckline arc in gold zari and silver thread. The 3/4 jet black buti-print sleeves are finished with a distinctive wide black check/grid woven cuff border with gold zari thread lines, while the empire waist is defined by a wide antique gold/dark woven Banarasi-style floral border.
